I regularly come to Lowestoft to visit my cousin. Discovered The Chippy on my last visit and it was gorgeous. This visit was determined to try out the restaurant side of things. It was brilliant. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and great service. The staff are wonderful. We where served by a young man who was polite, served us with a smile and knew his trade well. We will certainly be back again.
One of the best fish and chips I've had. The battery was wonderfully crispy, and light. I've had soggy and greasy fish and chips in the past, not this one. The batter also tasted lovely. The haddock was fresh and juicy inside. Wonderful mushy peas too.Our children left clean plates.Loved the decor with a shabby chic style, and the service was top-notch.I would definitely recommend. I wish I lived closer, this would be my go to!

Excellent! The best fish and chips we have had in a long while. Good portions, and they cater for gluten free, batter is available on request. Clean and tidy restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. We look forward to returning.
Turned up a little late and they were shuting. The lovely owner turned the fryers back on to do our fish and chips. What fabulous service. Thank you so much x
