“One of the main reasons bodybuilders eat Rice Krispie treats is for the high carbohydrate content. Bodybuilders need to consume adequate carbohydrates to fuel their intense workouts and recover properly. Rice Krispie treats are made from rice cereal, marshmallows, sugar and vegetable oil.

There are a couple of reasons your treats might have come out soggy or too soft. First, your cereal might be too old. Check the expiration and make sure the crispy rice cereal is nice and fresh for the best texture! Second, you may have used too much butter.

Candy, including seasonal treats, can be a surprisingly effective workout fuel, an expert says. Sweets like sour candy or gummies can provide carbs to boost performance and muscle building. After a workout, chocolate bars can kickstart recovery with a blend of carbs and protein.
Cereal: Wheatbix, corn flakes, or any cereal that you enjoy ( keep it reasonably nutritious!). Add some fruit to it to really get you going! Honey in water: A few teaspoons of honey in warm water will digest very quickly and leave you feeling ready to train.
Rice cakes don't necessarily provide tons of lasting energy, but they are exceptionally light and easy to digest. This can be ideal before exercising, particularly for those with sensitive stomachs or who plan to go running or take on another vigorous workout.
