After surviving prostate cancer, he launched Planet Prostate, a local initiative in Cairns to raise awareness and funds for men’s health. He discusses the importance of bringing attention to prostate cancer, which affects one in five men in their lifetime. Through Planet Prostate, David hopes to inspire conversations around men’s health, particularly in rural areas where access to healthcare can be challenging. His goal is to make prostate cancer awareness as common as breast cancer awareness, highlighting that early detection and open dialogue can save lives.
